TELECOMMUNICATIONS

Underground Network Services deliver turn-key civil solutions to a wide range of clients within the Telecommunications industry. We have extensive experience in NBN builds, along with specialised projects for which we’ve completed the construction of Telstra, Optus, TPG and private networks.

ELECTRICAL
​

UNS are proud of our long-standing relationship with major electrical companies. We have a vast array of experience in delivering the civil construction portion of small to medium sized electrical projects across Queensland. Our staff are trained in electrical awareness and have a solid understanding of the industry and its requirements.

CIVIL

Along with the plethora of Horizontal Directional Drilling and pipeline installation clients and projects we’re proud to be aligned with, UNS also have not only various sized vacuum excavation units available for wet hire, as well as Excavators, Bobcats, Rollers to cater for all your civil construction needs.

Our logistics team will have the machinery delivered to your site where our experienced operators will deliver your projects in a timely and professional manner.  From general excavation and earth moving works to trenching, clearing and dam building.

GOVERNMENT INFRASTRUCTURE INSTALLATIONS

Underground Network Services have long been a preferred supplier for major construction partners in delivering new buildings and facilities to Queensland’s state schools. With works ranging from the Daintree to the Tweed Coast, UNS partners with our long-standing clients to deliver fast, efficient projects and builds that are done right, the first time. 

 

UNS install pit and pipe infrastructure for both power and telecommunications networks within the school grounds. We specialise in the reinstatement of the manicured grounds and always strive to ensure the work area is left as beautiful, safe and inviting for the students and staff as it was before we arrived.

 

Our teams are trained in the correct site establishment and closure procedures required for works within school boundaries and our operators are trained in working alongside Location Specialists in identifying the many (usually unrecorded or unmarked) existing underground networks throughout the boundaries of the school – ensuring our works are safe and cost efficient for everyone involved.

WATER

Underground Network Services have been involved in many water, sewerage and drainage reticulation works in the past and have most recently seen ourselves ranked as a Preferred Supplier for Unity Water. Our large drilling capability and vacuum excavation services assist in our ability to install pipeline infrastructure where ever it is required. 

REMOTE WORKS

With the ability to mobilise Australia-wide and a team who are dedicated and passionate about remote works, UNS have become a stable supplier of underground network infrastructure builds for many large companies. 

EMERGENCY WORKS

At UNS we pride ourselves on our ability to respond quickly and efficiently to the call for emergency works – This is shown in our proven track record of fast-turn around, quality build projects we’ve been lucky enough to be a part of. UNS have found themselves renowned as an industry leader in emergency works for Department of Education builds within school grounds. Working alongside our valued clients, we have perfected the art of reactive works.
